Would you believe me if I told you....
... that you have all of the resources to start feeling better. As human beings we are more resilient than we often give ourselves credit for. As we create safety together, my hope is that you can start to view yourself with empathy and compassion, discovering the strengths you already possess as you continue to navigate new terrain. My role is to shine a light in the dark, riding right alongside of you on the journey to uncover your internal and external resources.
I offer movement based therapies (walking outside, playing sports, playing in general), using art, or simply talking, based on your preference. We will pull from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness based therapy, and psychodynamic therapeutic approaches.
If you are reading this, that means you have already taken step number one, which I think is one of the hardest steps to take. This means that there is a part of you that wants to be seen. I feel honored to potentially be invited on the journey with you.
